Job summary

Flowserve Corporation is seeking a skilled machinist to operate both manual and CNC equipment, including DMG-Mori NT4300, to produce parts within print tolerances. You’ll program at the machine, measure parts with micrometers and calipers, and maintain a safe, efficient work area in a high-standard shop environment.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years of experience, deep DMG-Mori NT4300 knowledge, and strong math and GD&T skills.

Qualifications

• More than 10 years of machining experience.
• Ability to read mechanical/production drawings with tolerances.
• Strong shop math including fractions to decimals and basic trigonometry.
• For CNC, strong understanding of G-code or conversational programming.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC and manual machines including DMG-Mori NT4300.
• Program at the machine for CNC equipment.
• Machining components to print dimensions and tolerances.
• Part measurement using micrometers, calipers and related tools.
• Maintain safe, organized work area and drive safety/efficiency improvements.
• Accurately complete paperwork for tasks performed.
• Keep up to date with required trainings.
• Work on multiple parts and processes across machines.
• May train lower-level employees or lead a manufacturing area.
