Job summary

Applied Industrial Technologies in Stafford, TX seeks a Level 2 Valve Technician to inspect, test, repair, and assemble PRVs, with 5-10 years of hands-on experience and familiarity with major PRV manufacturers.

You will work independently on day-to-day assembly, certification, and customer turnarounds, applying ASME and NBBI VR Certification requirements and using valve asset management software. Training and leadership of junior technicians are part of the role.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of experience in testing, repair, and assembly of PRVs.
• Experience with major PRV manufacturers – Consolidated, Crosby, Andersen Greenwood, Farris, Leser.
• Ability to work independently, managing day-to-day assembly & certification business, and running customer turnarounds.
• Familiar with the quality system requirements of ASME and NBBI VR Certification.
• Fluent in the use of PRV valve asset management software.
• Familiar with PRV test equipment.
• Can train and provide leadership to new technicians.
