SALARY: $65,000 - $70,000/Annually

Overview

The Level 2 Post Release Services (PRS) Case Manager plays a critical role in providing essential support and services to unaccompanied children and their sponsors. This position requires a high level of technical and professional expertise to advocate for the safety and well-being of children. The primary focus is ensuring the well-being and successful integration of Unaccompanied Alien Children (UAC) into their new environment.

Responsibilities
  1. Provide culturally and linguistically appropriate post-placement services and comprehensive case management for UAC.
  2. Manage a caseload of at least 15 PRS cases, with services provided virtually and in person every 90 days.
  3. Complete individualized needs assessments with UAC and sponsors, developing tailored case plans considering culture, language, and circumstances.
  4. Offer ongoing case management services based on assessed needs.
  5. Maintain accurate records following Applied Intellect and ORR policies using the UAC Portal and internal systems.
  6. Travel up to 50% with limited notice.
  7. Provide information, education, referrals, outreach, advocacy, and support to ensure children receive necessary services.
  8. Assess placement safety and appropriateness using child welfare principles via calls, interviews, and home visits.
  9. Ensure confidentiality of health and personal information in compliance with HIPAA and PHI regulations.
  10. Coordinate communication with stakeholders.
  11. Participate in training and team meetings via platforms like Teams or Zoom.
  12. Maintain professional conduct and respectful interactions with children, colleagues, and community members.
  13. Adhere to all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
Location and Requirements

Residency in the Oklahoma City, OK area (preferably within 50 miles of a major airport) is required. Must have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and a suitable workspace for remote work.

Position Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in social work, behavioral science, or related field with at least two years' experience.
  • Experience in child welfare, placements, or family preservation preferred.
  • Proficient in report writing and familiar with local immigrant resources.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Fluent in English; Spanish proficiency preferred.
  • Must have or obtain CPR and First Aid certification.

  • Manual dexterity, visual and auditory acuity.
  • Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds, bending, and carrying.
