Job summary

Riverstone Communities is seeking a Level 2 Maintenance Technician to service Sunrise Mobile Home Park at Cocoa, FL and Westgate Mobile Home Park in Cocoa, FL. You’ll perform plumbing, electrical tasks and general property upkeep to keep our communities looking and functioning well.

Full-time, 40 hours per week with competitive pay ($19–$20 per hour), benefits including medical, dental, and vision, 401(k) with match, 11 paid holidays (birthday off), PTO, maternity/paternity leave, a Boot Barn

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of general labor experience, including groundskeeping and property maintenance.
• 1-2 years of residential plumbing experience.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to operate a vehicle to move between properties.

Responsibilities

• Repair faucets and toilets; diagnose leaks in a residential setting.
• Install/replace light fixtures; manage outlets and breakers.
• Maintain curb appeal and Groundskeeping across the community.
• Read water meters for each home and log readings.
• Complete work orders promptly and with minimal supervision.
• Adhere to safety regulations and conduct inventory checks on equipment.
• Take online training and participate in growth opportunities.

We are currently seeking qualified Level 2 Maintenance Technicians for our Sunrise Mobile Home Park located at 799 Clearlake Road Cocoa, FL 32922 and our Westgate Mobile Home Park located at 5051 Ecstasy Circle Cocoa, FL 32926.

Level 2 Maintenance Technician Job Duties:

• Plumbing work such as repairing or replacing faucets and toilets, operating a sewer cleanout auger, diagnosing and repairing a simple water leak
• Electrical work such as light fixtures, GFCI’s, understanding lightbulb wattage, breakers and fuses, replacing outlets
• Oversee the curb appeal of the community and make sure it is up to Riverstone Communities’ standards which includes:
  • Picking up trash around the community
  • Groundskeeping including lawn mowing, planting flowers, weeding/weed eating, etc
• Complete clean outs of homes
• Finish work orders in an efficient and timely manner
• Read water meters for each home
• Complete day to day duties with minimal supervision
• Adhere to all safety laws and regulations
• Conduct regular inventory checks on equipment and supplies
• Take training classes online/virtually via a computer or tablet
• Other duties as qualified and trained to do so

Level 2 Maintenance Technician Requirements:

• 2-3 years of experience in general labor including groundskeeping, landscaping, property management maintenance
• 1-2 years of experience in basic residential plumbing
• Ability to be very active - walking, bending, standing, and lifting up to 50 pounds
• Need to be comfortable with working outside in all weather conditions
• Willingness to use technology/learn technology in a basic capacity
• Ability to legally operate a motor vehicle (drive to different locations on the property) with a valid driver’s license
• Specific maintenance knowledge/skills will be tested for accuracy.
