Job summary

10Web is looking for dedicated Groundworkers to assist in preparing construction sites and ensuring solid foundations. The role involves physical duties such as clearing debris, excavating, and installing drainage systems.

Applicants will engage in an 18-month apprenticeship, supported by K10 for training. You will need to have GCSEs in English and Maths or relevant functional skills. Ideal candidates are proactive and ready to tackle a dynamic work environment in Hackney.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in all weather conditions to serve customers.

• Ability to quickly prioritise tasks.

Responsibilities

• Prepare construction site by unloading and storing materials safely.
• Clear site of debris and obstacles.
• Excavate, level ground and mark areas for foundations.
• Install drainage systems and create appropriate drainage falls.
• Collaborate with construction professionals and adhere to safety guidelines.
