Empower Rental Group in Demopolis, AL is hiring a Level 2 Mechanic to prepare rental equipment for delivery, perform repairs, and conduct routine maintenance. You will support customer service at the yard, assist in loading and unloading fleet orders, and ensure safety and cleanliness of the work areas.

The role requires 0-2 years of experience, a valid driver’s license, basic tools, and good computer skills. The position offers a range of benefits and a team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience.
• Valid Driver’s License; ability to drive company vehicles may be required on a case-by-case basis.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Exhibits average computer skills.
• Must have own basic tools.
• Completes rental equipment preparation by the delivery date.

Responsibilities

• Cleans Equipment.
• Assists customers with loading and unloading fleet orders.
• Makes notes on rental tags.
• Assists customers with questions/customer service as applicable.
• Assists other mechanics with tasks such as lifting or moving heavy objects.
• Cleans up the yard and shop area.
• Performs some minor diagnoses of issues with the fleet.
• May perform repairs on the small fleet.
• Maintains a safe work environment.
• Performs job functions safely at all times.
• Demonstrates behaviors aligned with Company’s Core Values at all times.
• Assists in driving a continuous improvement strategy within the business to result in ongoing incremental gains in quality and efficiency.
