Job summary

CompucomStaffing is seeking a Level 2 Desktop Technician to join our client’s team onsite in Greensburg, PA. The ideal candidate will diagnose and fix end-user hardware and software issues and be friendly and helpful while supporting users.

Occasional travel to local satellite offices may be required to provide support. Key duties include on-site and remote troubleshooting, meeting-room equipment setup, and using ServiceNow to track incidents.

• Solid knowledge of Windows 11 and O365 support.

Responsibilities

• Ensure day-to-day operation of applications and equipment and troubleshoot on-site software/hardware on laptops, tablets, workstations and peripherals.
• May resolve higher level support to servers or network equipment and perform updates, repairs, upgrades, backups and maintenance tasks.
• Receive user calls and provide remote or on-site support.
• Troubleshoot systems, office hardware and business applications.
• Manage and install equipment in meeting rooms (projector, laptop, videoconference).
• Monitor calls, incidents and requests using ServiceNow.

Our client is currently seeking a qualified Level 2 Desktop Technician to join their team onsite in Greensburg, PA and provide support. The ideal candidate is expected to be helpful, relatable, and pleasant while diagnosing and fixing problems for end users. Occasional travelling may be required to local satellite offices for support.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Ensure the proper day-to-day operation of applications and equipment and troubleshoot on-site software and hardware issues on laptops, Tablets, Workstations, and peripherals

• Perform management and installation of equipment in the meeting room (projector, laptop, and videoconference)
• Monitor calls, incidents and requests using client provided ServiceNow tool

Wage Range

The rate for this position is between $19.50 - $26.00 per hour, unless local minimum wage is higher. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
