Centurion Health is seeking a Part-Time Medication Aide Level 1 at Farmington Correctional Center in Farmington, MO. The role supports safe medication administration under supervision and requires a High School diploma or GED.

Preferred candidates hold Level 1 Medication Aide certification and insulin certification. Ongoing training, CPR/AED, and background clearance are required. Schedule is day shift, 16 hours per week, with comprehensive benefits and BEP.

Qualificações

Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Missouri Department of Corrections.

We are currently seeking a Part Time Medication Aide Level 1 to join our team at Farmington Correctional Center located in Farmington, Missouri.

The Medication Aide Level 1 (MO) Under the direction of the facility Director of Nursing / nursing designee, administers medications as prescribed; and documents the medication effectiveness and any noted adverse actions or side effects.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Preferred to have current active Level 1 Medication Aide certification from the Department of Health and Senior Services (DHSS) or the Department of Mental Health (DMH) which may also be referred to as DD Medication Aide (mo.tmutest.com).
• Insulin certification preferred.
• Must complete required continuing education to maintain certification (minimum of four (4) hours of medication administration training every two (2) years). Required training will be documented and maintained in Employee File. Must maintain current tuberculosis documentation and active CPR/AED certification.
• If not already Level 1 Medication Aide certified – applicant must successfully complete internal level one medication aide and insulin training to maintain employment beyond probationary period.
• Must be able to pass a background investigation and obtain agency security clearance where applicable.
• One year experience in acute care, emergency or correctional setting preferred.
