Job summary

A leading telecommunications company in Knoxville, Georgia, is seeking an experienced Level 4 Installer to manage DC power systems. The role requires 6+ years of relevant experience, supervising subcontractors, and conducting equipment testing. Ideal candidates will hold certification and demonstrate proficiency in their roles. Qualifications

  • Have a minimum of 6 years’ experience or equivalent in installation/testing of DC power systems.
  • Hold current training certificates from each manufacturer of equipment being installed.
  • Maintain yearly manufacturer training updates as required.
  • Hold a certificate of completion from a relevant training facility.
  • Be capable of performing as a Skill Level 3 installer without supervision.
  • Be capable of serving as the Installation supervisor in charge.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct software adds or upgrades.
  • Manage job-site supervision of subcontractor work.
  • Perform equipment testing and turn-up.
  • Handle circuit modifications and battery transitions.
  • Document all required activities and create Visio as-built documentation.
  • Travel up to 75% for this role.

Level 4 Work Operations / Job Activities
  • Software adds or upgrades
  • Addition or removal of batteries
  • Addition or removal of circuits on working power distribution sources
  • Equipment testing and turn‑up
  • Job‑site supervision of subcontractor work
  • Additions, modifications or removals to Power Boards
  • All required documentation and Visio as‑builts
  • Travel up to 75% or more is required for this role.

  • Hold a certificate of completion from a training facility providing an appropriate curriculum.

Position Type

This is a full‑time position. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

Travel

Must possess a valid driver’s license and be insurable under the company insurance policy.

Pay Range

The pay range for this position in California is $25-30.00/hr. However, base pay offered may vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience (in addition to medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered). This information is provided per the California Equal Pay Act. Base pay information is based on the market location.
