IAT Insurance Group is offering a Business Application Support Intern opportunity in our Naperville, IL, Rolling Meadows, IL, or Milwaukee, WI locations for Summer 2027. The internship runs May 24th to July 30th with a hybrid schedule, in-office Monday through Wednesday and remote Thursday and Friday.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work at Naperville, IL or Rolling Meadows, IL or Milwaukee, WI office without housing or relocation assistance.
• Must complete the full 10-week internship (May 24–July 30).
• Rising undergraduate sophomore, junior or senior.
• Ability to quickly learn IAT systems.
• Problem solver.
• Strong communication with technical and non-technical resources.
• Willingness to learn.
• Ability to work independently.
• Authorized to work in the United States without VISA sponsorship now or in the future.

Job Description

IAT has an opening for an Business Application Support Intern in our Naperville, Illinois, Rolling Meadows, IL or Milwaukee, Wisconsin location for the summer of 2027. The internship is scheduled to begin on May 24th, 2027, and conclude on July 30th, 2027. Please note, IAT works on a hybrid schedule, working from the office Monday through Wednesday with the option of working remotely Thursday and Friday.

Responsibilities

• Support various business units utilizing our Enterprise systems.
• Assist with preparation for training materials and job aid updates.
• Research resolutions and assist BAS and Service Desk analysts.
• Assist with monthly system Release Notes preparation.
• Be involved with and possibly responsible for various projects for the support teams.
• Troubleshoot various system issues as part of the Service Desk team.
• Perform other duties as needed.

Qualifications

Must Have:

• Must be able to work out of our Naperville, Illinois, Rolling Meadows, IL or Milwaukee, Wisconsin office without housing assistance or relocation assistance from IAT Insurance Group.
• Must be able to complete the entirety of the 10-week internship program (May 24th to July 30th)
• Rising Undergraduate sophomore, junior, or senior.
• Ability to quickly learn IAT systems.
• Problem Solver.
• Strong Communication skills both with Technical and non-technical resources.
• Willingness to learn.
• Ability to work independently.
• To qualify, applicants must be authorized to work in the United States and must not require VISA sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment purposes.

Preferred To Have

• Major, minor, or concentration in business related or technical degree.
• Proficiency with Microsoft office and VISIO.
• Past roles in Customer Support.

Compensation

Please note, that the hourly pay rate associated with this posting is $17 - $20 range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base hourly pay for this position. Actual hourly rates will vary based on factors such as a candidate's class standing, major, and geographical location. The total compensation will include base pay, 401(K) match, and more.
