Autism Institute of Minnesota (AIM) is seeking compassionate Behavior Therapists (Level 1 & Level 2 EIDBI Providers) to join our growing team. This role involves delivering one-on-one behavioral interventions to children with ASD, implementing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with the clinical team to monitor progress.

Work is in-person in Minnesota, with schedules aligning to a 9am-5pm center operation.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Qualifications as Minnesota EIDBI Level 1 or Level 2 Provider.
  • Level 1: enrolled in Masters program or Masters degree in Mental Health.
  • Level 2: various pathways including BA with 1,000+ hours, BCaBA, RBT, or related supervised experience.

Responsibilities

  • Provide one-on-one behavioral intervention services using evidence-based practices.
  • Implement individualized treatment plans (ITPs) developed by the clinical team.
  • Develop, modify, and monitor individualized treatment goals.
  • Collect accurate treatment data and complete clinical documentation in a timely manner.
  • Monitor client progress and communicate outcomes with the clinical team.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary treatment planning and team meetings.
  • Provide parent and caregiver education and training.

Pay: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour

Autism Institute of Minnesota (AIM) is seeking compassionate, energetic, and dedicated Behavior Therapists (Level 1 & Level 2 EIDBI Providers) to join our growing team. Position Summary

Behavior Therapists provide direct therapeutic services to children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and related conditions through individualized treatment plans. Therapists collaborate closely with Qualified Supervising Professionals (QSPs), Level I providers, families, and other members of the multidisciplinary team to implement effective interventions, monitor progress, collect clinical data, and support positive developmental outcomes.

Essential Job Responsibilities
  • Provide one-on-one behavioral intervention services using evidence-based practices.
  • Implement individualized treatment plans (ITPs) developed by the clinical team.
  • Assist in developing, modifying, and monitoring individualized treatment goals.
  • Collect accurate treatment data and complete clinical documentation in a timely manner.
  • Monitor client progress and communicate treatment outcomes with the clinical team.
  • Participate ifn interdisciplinary treatment planning and team meetings.
  • Provide parent and caregiver education and training as directed.
  • Maintain professional, ethical, and confidential standards in accordance with HIPAA and EIDBI regulations.
  • Foster a positive, engaging, and therapeutic learning environment.
  • Build strong rapport with clients and families while promoting meaningful skill development.
  • Follow all Autism Institute of Minnesota policies, safety procedures, and documentation requirements.
Minimum Qualifications

Applicants must qualify as either a Minnesota EIDBI Level 1 or Level 2 Provider.

Level 1 Provider Qualifications

Applicants must have the following:

  • Be enrolled in a Masters program in the field of Mental Health
  • Have a Masters in the field of Mental Health
Level 2 Provider Qualifications

Applicants must meet one of the following Minnesota DHS pathways:

  • Bachelor's degree in behavioral health, child development, or related field with at least 1,000 hours of clinical experience or training.
  • Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA®).
  • Registered Behavior Technician (RBT®).
  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in a qualifying field while receiving required supervision.
  • Associate degree in a qualifying field with 2,000 hours of supervised clinical experience.
  • Minimum 4,000 hours of supervised clinical experience providing ASD treatment.
  • Graduate student in a behavioral or child development science program.
  • Individuals who:
  • Are at least 18 years old
  • Are fluent in a language other than English
Ideal Candidate
  • Must qualify as a Level 1 or Level 2 EIDBI provider.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to bring enthusiasm and energy into therapy sessions.
  • Passion and dedication to working with children with ASD.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must pass a criminal background check
