Job summary

Berlitz is seeking an Levantine Language Instructor to deliver lessons in English and Levantine languages, adapting to student goals and needs. You will conduct assessments, provide support, and collaborate with a specialized team in a learning center or virtually.

You will participate in regular coaching, complete development modules, and maintain accurate records. The role offers flexible hours with opportunities to teach across private, group, and offsite locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Teaching experience is a plus but not required.
• Ability to speak English fluently.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Basic administrative skills and computer knowledge to deliver lessons and maintain student records.
• Flexibility with work hours and availability.

Responsibilities

• Deliver lessons in accordance with Berlitz teaching principles: focusing on the goals, needs, and interests of students.
• Conduct level assessments and needs-analyses, as assigned by Service Delivery Manager or Academic Specialist
• Work with private and group students at the Learning Center, one of our offsite locations or virtually, assigned by Service Delivery Manager
• Meet with Academic Specialist regularly to participate in lesson evaluation and coaching plan to strengthen teaching skills and ensure SMART goals are met
• Complete training and professional development modules in @Berlitz Learning website and/or face-to-face live sessions, assigned by Academic Specialist
• Responsible for keeping student pedagogical and attendance records up to date
• Integrate learning technology into teaching programs and maintain shared teaching resource materials
• Perform duties as deemed fit for proper execution and delegated by the Service Delivery Manager or Academic Specialist
