Job summary

The Huang Lab at UCSF is seeking a Staff Research Associate to conduct leukemia research using mice and cell lines. You will perform cell culture, biochemical assays, DNA/RNA work, and generate/transduce hematopoietic cells, with careful record-keeping of mouse colonies.

Required BA/BS in a related science. Preferred skills include mouse breeding and molecular biology techniques such as PCR and Western blotting.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in a related science; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with cell culture and molecular biology techniques is favorable.

Responsibilities

• Conduct leukemia research using mouse models and cell lines.
• Perform biochemical assays (e.g., Western blotting, immunoprecipitation, qPCR).
• Maintain accurate records and manage mouse colonies including genotyping.
