Midwest Direct is seeking a meticulous Lettershop Technician at our Cleveland, OH facility. In a fast-paced mail operations environment, you will set up, operate, troubleshoot, and maintain lettershop equipment, ensuring material flows smoothly and safely.

You should have mechanical and electrical aptitude, basic Windows skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and the ability to learn and work independently or on a team.

• Mechanical and electrical aptitude is required.
• Basic Microsoft Windows skills.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Willingness to learn and follow directions.
• Self-starter who can work independently and as part of a team.
• Good attendance and reliability are essential.
• Previous lettershop or mailroom equipment experience is a plus, but we will train the right candidate.

Job Details: Job Location: Corporate Headquarters - Cleveland, OH 44102, Position Type: Full Time, Salary Range: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 Salary, $500 Sign on Bonus!

Midwest Direct helps our clients efficiently create and deliver their print, mail and digital messages with the best audience data for targeted and accurate deliverability. When you add in our additional delivery channels, such as email, Informed Delivery, and online advertising, we average over two million messages a day delivered to mailboxes, inboxes and online.

Midwest Direct is looking for a Lettershop Technician to join our team. This is a fast-paced environment where attention to detail, reliability, and a willingness to learn are essential.

Job duties include:

• Set up, operate, troubleshoot, and maintain lettershop/mailroom equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment such as inserters, folders, cutters, and related machinery.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues.
• Follow operating procedures and safety guidelines.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area.
• Assist with equipment and production needs as required.

Schedule:

• Monday through Thursday 8am - 5:30pm
• Friday 8am - 12pm

Compensation:

• $40k - $50k/yr based on experience

Qualifications:

• Mechanical and electrical aptitude is required.

Physical demands and abilities:

• The ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
• The ability to walk, stand, stoop, and bend 80% of the time with or without accommodations
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Attention to detail a must.
• Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and/or different shifts as needed, sometimes with minimal notice.

MUST be able to pass criminal background check and drug test!
