Job summary

E‑Space is seeking an Antenna Systems Integration Engineer to be the US presence for the IAS team. You will own hardware‑level coordination across structural, RF, and deployment subsystems, ensuring the antenna system withstands ground and launch environments while preserving electrical integrity.

Based in California or Texas with some travel, you will participate in integration activities, review ICDs, manage interfaces, support test campaigns, and contribute to procedures and records.

Qualifications

• BS/MS/PhD in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering.
• Hands-on hardware responsibility on spacecraft or flight structures programs.
• 2–3 years with deployable structures, gossamer systems, or large space mechanisms.
• Ability to read and maintain ICDs, interface matrices, and assembly‑level requirements.
• Experience resolving interface discrepancies across subsystems.
• Strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Own assembly‑level coordination between structural, RF, and deployment teams.
• Maintain IAS ICDs and ensure current parameter handoffs between teams.
• Serve as on‑site technical representative during integration activities and tests.
• Track requirements through hardware verification artifacts and flag gaps.
• Support antenna deployment and structural test campaigns, including post‑test data review.
• Develop and maintain integration procedures, checklists, and interface records.
• Identify and mitigate integration risks early.
