Job summary

E-Space is seeking a Senior Electromechanical Engineer to own electrical, optical, and sensing harness interconnects for a space‑based antenna. This hands‑on role covers design, component selection, and qualification for flight environments.

You will define harness requirements, create drawings and interfaces, and lead integration and testing across the product lifecycle in a fast‑paced space programs setting.

Qualifications

• Own the design and selection of spacecraft wiring harnesses and interconnects.
• Integrate antenna sensors, routing and signal interfaces.
• Drive harness and connector requirements and supplier evaluation.
• Qualification of harness components for flight environment.
• Develop routing and strain‑relief for spacecraft structure.
• Create harness drawings, wire lists, and interface documentation.
• Support assembly, integration and test through product lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Own the design and selection of the spacecraft’s wiring harness — electrical wiring, optical fiber, connectors, and interconnects.
• Own antenna specific sensors and their integration, routing, and signal interfaces.
• Define harness and connector requirements and drive component selection and supplier evaluation.
• Take harness, connectors, and fiber through qualification for the flight environment.
• Develop routing, strain‑relief, and integration approaches compatible with a spacecraft structure.
• Create harness drawings, wire lists, and interface documentation.
• Support assembly, integration, and test, and resolve harness‑related anomalies throughout the entire product lifecycle.
