Job summary

E-Space is building a space-based IoT platform via a high-fidelity LEO/MEO constellation. The Constellation Modeling and Simulations Architect will lead architecture, geometry definition, and link-budget validation, collaborating across engineering teams to optimize network performance.

The role requires 5+ years in constellation design, ITU coordination experience, and postgraduate engineering qualifications.

Qualifications

5+ years’ experience in LEO and/or MEO constellation design.
Experience developing and closing satellite link budgets across MSS/FSS.
Strong understanding of orbital mechanics and constellation optimization.
Experience supporting ITU coordination activities including EPFD analysis.
Ability to communicate complex concepts to multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

Lead the development and maintenance of the overall constellation architecture and design baseline.
Define and freeze constellation geometry to support downstream spacecraft procurement and program execution.
Develop and validate end-to-end link budgets across MSS and FSS, including environmental effects.
Perform coverage analysis and network simulations to optimize service availability and capacity.
Conduct interference studies and EPFD modelling for regulatory compliance.
Produce technical documentation for regulatory filings and deployment planning.
Develop long-term capacity modelling and network growth strategies.
Collaborate with systems engineering, payload, RF, regulatory and commercial teams to optimize network performance.
Provide technical leadership for constellation design activities throughout the program lifecycle.
