Position: Part-Time

General Function

The Team Lead creates value in the lives of customers & patients by delivering exceptional service and managing key optical & lab processes to achieve store success.

Major Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Ensure the team provides unsurpassed customer service.
  2. Assist customers with selections, provide recommendations, and support sales associates.
  3. Serve as a responsible alternate store key holder.
  4. In the lab, custom fit glasses, ensure eyewear meets standards, and maintain lab tools.
  5. Create a safe working environment and ensure proper operation and maintenance of lab equipment.
Basic Qualifications
  • HS diploma/GED
  • Strong optical & retail experience
  • Knowledge of optical theory & merchandise
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic math skills and sales experience
  • Problem-solving skills and familiarity with store systems
  • Leadership and training experience
  • Optical measurement knowledge and edging & mounting experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • State licensure or ABO Certification
  • LensCrafters Final Eyewear Inspector Certification
  • Experience with optical machinery and customer service
  • Certification in digital measurement systems
  • Knowledge of store merchandise and lens options
