Position Overview

The Store Manager is a leadership role responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, managing store operations, and driving sales performance. The position requires a focus on team development, operational excellence, and achieving key performance indicators.

Major Responsibilities
  • Ensure the team provides outstanding customer service
  • Train and coach team members using company programs
  • Analyze reports to improve store KPIs such as NPS, sales to plan, customer count, and exam growth
  • Attract, hire, and retain a highly engaged team
  • Partner with the Doctor of Optometry to enhance customer and patient experiences
  • Oversee operational, inventory, and visual merchandising tasks to ensure store standards
  • Implement and maintain safety programs to ensure a safe working environment
Basic Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 4+ years of management or supervisory experience
  • Knowledge of operations, processes, and business implications
  • Strong influencing, negotiating, and team-building skills
  • Knowledge of optical theories and merchandise
  • Excellent communication and listening skills
  • Basic math skills and familiarity with cash registers and computers
  • Ability to manage time effectively under deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
  • College degree or equivalent
  • State licensure or ABO Certification (if applicable)
  • LensCrafters Final Inspector Certification
  • Experience in customer service and retail
  • Strong business acumen and knowledge of LC Dashboard
