Position Overview

The Assistant Manager supports the Store Manager and acts as a leader in their absence. Represents LensCrafters as a key community destination for vision needs and strives to meet performance metrics.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

• Achieve key performance indicators such as sales, traffic, store profitability, and customer satisfaction scores.
• Understand retail business dynamics to drive sales and market understanding.
• Assist in developing and executing store business plans.
• Lead and develop the team in partnership with the Store Manager.
• Provide feedback and support team development.
• Ensure visual standards and store appearance are maintained.
• Maintain positive relationships with eye care professionals.
• Ensure policy compliance and perform administrative duties.
• Work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.

Basic Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of management or supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of retail operations and policies.
• Strong math and communication skills.
• Experience with cash registers and computers.
• Ability to problem-solve and sell effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

• College degree or equivalent.
• Leadership experience in retail/customer service.
• Knowledge of optics and store merchandise.
• State licensure or ABO certification, if applicable.
• Additional certifications related to brand quality and fitting.

Pay Range: $20.92 - $31.17 per hour.

Compensation includes base pay, potential bonuses, and benefits such as health care, retirement, paid time off, and discounts.
