Job summary

Versant Health, Inc. is seeking a production associate to fine and polish lens blocks, apply coatings, and manage the front-end lens finishing workflow. The role involves operating fining and polishing equipment, validating processes, and ensuring quality control across production steps.

Experience in manufacturing is preferred; reading English and basic math are required. The job may involve night and weekend shifts, with potential overtime and adherence to all safety and HIPAA guidelines.

Qualifications

• High Diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of related manufacturing experience.
• Must be able to read English to understand written procedures.
• Basic addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
• Ability to think logically in following procedures and instructions.
• Ability to work varying schedules including nights, weekends, holidays and overtime.
• The physical demands include standing, using hands, and lifting up to 20 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Power up equipment and perform validation.
• Operate multiple fining and polishing machines.
• Fine lens for predetermined time according to lens material.
• Verify polish temperature and load blocks.
• Place blocked lenses into trays for processing.
• Monitor auto-blocker and troubleshoot errors.
• Follow safety and hazardous materials procedures.
• Comply with Quality Management System requirements.
