Job summary

ZEISS is seeking a Lab Technician II to support lens production in a fast-paced environment. The role involves routine and semi-routine tasks under guidance, with emphasis on accuracy, safety, and documentation.

Responsibilities include receiving and inspecting lenses, performing coating, tinting, assembly, and data entry, along with troubleshooting equipment and contributing to billing and packaging activities. The position offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Performs routine and semi-routine production duties with focus on quality, quantity and efficiency.
• Maintains written and/or computer documentation and reports safety concerns to leadership.
• Inspects products to ensure compliance with CZV specifications and standards.
• Adheres to safety standards and supports a clean, safe work environment.
• Cross trains in related areas as needed.

Responsibilities

• Receiving Lenses and/or Frames.
• Inspecting lenses for defects and quality.
• Blocking, Spotting, Taping and/or Foco.
• Lens Coating and Tinting processes.
• Assembling Jobs for packaging and shipping.
• Entering Data into systems and invoicing/billing tasks.
