Job summary

EssilorLuxottica is seeking an Associate Technician to support the production department by meeting productivity and quality standards. The role requires adherence to work instructions, calibration of equipment, and proactive issue identification.

The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma or GED, experience in fast-paced settings, and strong communication and organizational skills to meet tight deadlines while maintaining safety and efficiency on the floor.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in a fast-paced environment preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
• Ability to prioritize, stay organized and meet deadlines.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality including breaks and lunch periods.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to and motivates others to follow work instructions.
• Completes equipment calibration and setup; notifies Supervisor of maintenance issues.
• Identifies quality, process, and workflow problems and informs Supervisor.
• Participates in training of Associates; mentors new hires and cross-trains staff.
• Communicates with Supervisor; participates in team meetings and shares facility feedback.
• Maintains a positive attitude and treats associates with respect and dignity.
• Supports management decisions and assists Team Leader and Supervisor in duties.
• Maintains a clean, safe work area; reports safety/health issues.
• Follows all safety requirements and policies.
