Job summary

Optomec in Albuquerque, New Mexico is seeking an experienced LENS Application Engineer to drive technical evaluations for sales processes. The ideal candidate will develop proof of concepts, present LENS technology at industry events, and analyze customer requirements for new products. A Master’s degree in a relevant field and 3-5 years of experience with laser-based processing systems are required. Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of experience with laser-based processing material systems.
• Familiar with various calibration and process control techniques.
• Experience in Additive Manufacturing Industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver customer-specific proof of concept and product demonstrations.
• Present LENS Technology at conferences and trade shows.
• Analyze feasibility studies and define customer requirements.

Education

Master’s degree in physical sciences or engineering
