Job summary

Loyal Source is seeking a Security Service Technician II to support a long‑term program at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, MD. The role focuses on service, maintenance, troubleshooting, audits, and lifecycle support for Lenel electronic security systems across multiple facilities on site.

Qualified candidates will hold a Lenel OnGuard certification, have strong access control and video surveillance experience, and pass a Tier 2 federal background check.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience installing, servicing, and maintaining electronic security systems.
• Active Lenel OnGuard Certification (latest version).
• Strong hands‑on experience supporting Lenel access control systems.
• Experience with video surveillance platforms and security integrations.
• Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Experience troubleshooting access control hardware, panels, power supplies, and network devices.
• Ability to configure IP addresses and network settings for security devices.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to pass a Tier 2 federal background investigation.

Responsibilities

• Support the complete lifecycle of Lenel electronic security systems including site surveys, installations, configuration, preventive maintenance, and audits.
• Troubleshoot issues and perform lifecycle support while maintaining compliance with customer and security requirements.
• Manage approximately 12–15 buildings through a rolling audit and maintenance program.
