Job summary

System One is seeking a Lending Systems Software Tester to join a hybrid onsite team in Vienna, VA, on a multiyear contract. The tester will perform functional and regression testing on legacy and vendor systems, develop test cases, prepare test data, and document results while collaborating with developers, analysts, and business stakeholders to ensure changes meet requirements.

Candidates should have 2–5 years of QA/testing experience in banking/financial services, with knowledge of JIRA, HP

Qualifications

• 2–5 years QA/testing experience in banking/financial services
• Experience in functional and regression testing, test case creation, defect management
• Familiarity with test data preparation, requirements analysis, and validation tools
• Knowledge of JIRA, HP ALM, and UFT for test management
• Experience with test automation and SQL/database validation preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform complete regression tests of new and existing systems (legacy and vendor) functions when new or modified functions are introduced
• Conduct functional tests to ensure software interfaces properly with other systems and generates appropriate reports
• Create and edit test cases per system requirements
• Determine function problems by reviewing testing actions and results and system outputs
• Create/modify data conditions to execute test cases
• Identify and analyze business and system requirements and document issues and solutions
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align project concepts, objectives, and approach
• Work with developers to resolve issues and re-verify modifications
• Certify testing is complete and ready for production
• Develop procedures and training materials for subsystem changes
• Maintain testing logs and documentation for compliance
• Review user documentation for accuracy prior to dissemination
• Handle user inquiries and coordinate issue resolution
