Job summary

S.C. State Credit Union in Columbia, SC is seeking a Lending Specialist to support consumer lending operations, including reporting, tracking, auditing, training, internal service, and quality control.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year in consumer lending, strong Excel and MS Office skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. A test may assess Excel proficiency, and familiarity with bank policies is preferred.

State Credit Union is seeking a Lending Specialist to assist with reports, tracking, auditing, training, internal customer service and quality control related to consumer lending.

The position will require excellent computer and analytical skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office Programs, including Excel. Applicants' Excel knowledge will be assessed by way of a standardized test. All candidates must be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

1 year of experience in a consumer lending environment is required. Experience in operations, policies and procedures at a financial institution is preferred.
