Job summary

The Lending Specialist at LPL Financial in Tempe will support our Secured Credit Account and margin lending offerings, acting as the subject-matter expert for Advisors and coordinating with service teams to resolve client issues. You will guide product use across loan origination, draws, payments, and closures while ensuring compliance and strong client service.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in Finance or related field, 5+ years in financial services, and a Series 7 license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience within financial services (wealth management context) with knowledge of securities-backed lending and margin.
• Series 7 License.
• Track record of providing exceptional support to client-facing financial professionals and their teams.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SCA and margin product expert and support Advisor inquiries, including product characteristics, benefits, risks, and positioning.
• Guide Advisors on system usage from loan origination to account closure; manage lifecycle tasks.
• Support Advisors in client meetings related to SCA and Margin.
• Manage interest rate discount requests for SCA and Margin.
• Handle lending product policy exceptions and escalations.
• Collaborate with Regional Banking and Lending Consultants to transition external loans to LPL.
• Provide feedback to the Product Manager, Lending Solutions for continuous improvement.
