Job summary

Boscov’s Travel is seeking a Leisure Travel Advisor to join our in-office team in a full-time capacity. The ideal candidate has at least two years in leisure travel selling and a passion for helping clients create lifelong memories, with training available for the right person.

You will coordinate travel plans, book documentation, and ensure excellent customer service while managing vendor relationships and staying current on travel restrictions and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• 2-years’ leisure travel selling experience required.
• Sabre experience preferred for air travel booking automation.
• Support travel team with day-to-day administration of travel program.
• Make travel arrangements and assist customers with planning and booking travel arrangements.
• Manage relationships of key travel vendors.
• Delight the customer by ensuring an accurate and high-quality experience.
• Deliver extraordinary moments by booking travel domestically and internationally.
• Create domestic and international travel arrangements including air, hotel, and ground transportation.
• Understand or learn industry standards for travel, payment, and expenses.

Responsibilities

• Discuss and coordinate travel goals as requested by or outlined to clients, booking all travel documentation and establishing budgets.
• Maintain awareness of current travel restrictions and safety protocols for all transportation modes and destinations.
• Use travel software to book all aspects of the client's trip, including travel insurance.
