Merlin Entertainments through SEA LIFE Legoland California is seeking a Part-Time Education Associate to deliver engaging talks, demonstrations, and hands-on learning about marine life. You will educate guests of all ages, interpret exhibits, and help maintain safety and animal welfare standards.

The role emphasizes strong public speaking, customer service, and the ability to work with families and school groups in a dynamic aquarium setting. Weekend availability is preferred and 18+ is required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging educational talks, demonstrations, and interactive guest experiences throughout the aquarium.
• Share knowledge about marine animals, conservation, and aquatic ecosystems with guests of all ages.
• Create memorable experiences through exceptional guest service and positive interactions.
• Interpret exhibit information and educational materials for individuals, families, school groups, and large audiences.
• Monitor and report animal conditions with a focus on safety and wellbeing in interactive exhibit areas.
• Handle guest questions, crowd management, and service recovery situations professionally and confidently.
• Follow all safety procedures, standards and animal handling protocols.
• Assist with animal interactions, including handling animals such as snakes, following established procedures.
• Communicate operational, staffing, facility, and safety concerns to leadership as needed.
• Support team operations, including break coverage and collaboration with other departments.
• Help maintain a welcoming, energetic and engaging environment throughout the aquarium.

Are you passionate about marine life, education, and creating unforgettable experiences for guests? Join our SEA LIFE team as a Part-Time Education Associate and help bring the wonders of the ocean to life through engaging presentations, interactive experiences, and meaningful guest interactions.

In this role, you'll inspire guests of all ages through educational talks, animal encounters, and hands-on learning opportunities while helping maintain the highest standards of safety, guest service, and animal welfare.

What You'll Do
