Job summary

Merlin Entertainments seeks a Part-Time Guest Experience Lead for the Snorkel Program at SEA LIFE Minnesota. You will lead snorkel experiences, welcome guests, and demonstrate equipment, ensuring safety and memorable underwater adventures.

You will deliver engaging talks, tours, and interpretations while collaborating with staff to maintain excellence in visitor service and safety.

Qualifications

• Current Open Water Dive or Lifeguard Certification.
• Positive, enthusiastic personality with passion for guest experiences.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Public speaking experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead snorkel experiences from start to finish, ensuring safety and enjoyment.
• Welcome guests, build confidence, and demonstrate snorkel equipment use.
• Monitor program flow and guest safety both in and out of water.
• Share information about Rainbow Reef and its animals, enhancing understanding.
• Deliver educational talks, Behind-the-Scenes tours, and aquarium interpretations.
• Collaborate across touch pools and guest areas for a seamless experience.
• Address guest questions with professionalism and a positive attitude.
• Maintain knowledge of exhibits and program content to spark curiosity.
• Uphold high standards of health, safety and guest service.

Ready to make a splash? Join the team at SEA LIFE Minnesota as a Part-Time Guest Experience Lead for our Snorkel Program and help create safe, memorable, and truly unforgettable underwater experiences for our guests!

What You'll Do

• Lead engaging, safe, and memorable snorkel experiences from start to finish.
• Welcome guests, build their confidence, and demonstrate the proper use of snorkel equipment.
• Keep the Snorkel Program running smoothly and on schedule while monitoring guest safety and experience both in and out of the water.
• Share fun, accurate, and engaging information about Rainbow Reef, its animals, and their natural history.
• Deliver educational talks, Behind-the-Scenes tours, and aquarium interpretation that bring the exhibits and animals to life.
• Work collaboratively across touch pools and other guest-facing areas to create a seamless experience.
• Address guest questions or concerns with professionalism and a positive attitude.
• Maintain strong knowledge of aquarium exhibits, species, and program content so you can encourage curiosity and further learning.
• Help maintain the highest standards of health, safety, and guest service.

Qualifications & Experience

• Current Open Water Dive or Lifeguard Certification.
• A fun, enthusiastic, and positive personality with a genuine passion for creating great guest experiences.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Confidence speaking to groups and engaging large crowds; public speaking experience is a plus.
• Ability to work independently while also being a strong team player.
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-minded.
• Flexible availability, including weekends (required).
• A love of animals, learning, and making a splash with guests!
