The California Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) is seeking a dynamic Analyst III in the Office of Legislative & Regulatory Affairs to handle complex legislative duties. Under the Supervisor II, you will manage the department's legislative portfolio and prepare analyses and briefings for management.

Responsabilités

• Manage the Department of Industrial Relations’ legislative portfolio.
• Review and analyze legislation, including complex bills impacting multiple programs.
• Conduct legislation research to answer complex questions and prepare analyses.
• Prepare, review, and edit bill analyses with political sensitivity when needed.
• Prepare reports and briefings for management on legislation.
• Assist DIR divisions and programs in formulating legislative priorities and responding to initiatives.
• Ensure timely communications with legislative offices and internal and external stakeholders.
