Job summary

Tractor Supply Company is seeking a Team Member to engage customers and fellow Team Members while supporting selling initiatives and performing assigned tasks. You will help create a Legendary Customer Experience by greeting customers, uncovering needs, and recommending solutions in a fast-paced retail environment.

As a Team Member, you will work varied hours and perform duties including cash handling, stocking, merchandising, and safety tasks.

Qualifications

• No experience required; retail experience and/or farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge is strongly preferred.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, but not required; reading, writing and counting ability is expected.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills and basic computer skills are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and uncover needs to recommend product solutions.
• Operate cash register and follow cash handling procedures.
• Complete merchandising plans, price changes and stock replenishment as needed.
• Ensure a Legendary Customer Experience and maintain safety standards, including care for birds.
