Job summary

pettitkohningrassialutzdolinpc is seeking a Word Processor under the supervision of an attorney to revise, format, and create documents in the firm’s standard templates. Location: onsite or hybrid; compensation: $31.25–$40.87/hour.

You will prepare, revise and format legal documents and discovery shells with high accuracy under tight deadlines; ensure forms follow the firm’s standards; proofread for spelling and grammar; generate Tables of Contents and Authorities; save to Filevine and support

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma.
  • At least 5 years law firm experience preferred.
  • Previous legal assistant/secretary experience preferred.
  • Great written, oral and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of rules of evidence and conduct or proceedings in state, federal, trial and appellate courts in California.
  • Strong attention to detail, goal oriented, with ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Great computer processing skills, including high-level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat
  • Team player attitude
  • Commitment to excellent service orientation, with the ability to work well with others on legal projects.
  • Familiarity with calendar and scheduling software
