Job summary

eScribers, LLC is seeking 30 experienced legal transcribers to support a federal contract. This remote, independent contractor role requires strong transcription, grammar, punctuation, and listening skills. You will transcribe at least 200 audio minutes per week and work with a high-speed internet connection and a USB foot pedal.

Applicants must be US citizens, have REAL ID or passport, and pass a Public Trust background check. Windows 10+ and MS Word are required for timely, accurate work.

Qualifications

• Have at least two years of transcription experience.
• Type at least 55 words per minute.

• Commit to transcribing at least 200 audio minutes per week.
• Maintain consistent access to a reliable, high-speed internet connection.
• Have a compatible USB foot pedal.

Legal Transcriber

eScribers is seeking30 experienced legal transcribers to support a federal contract. This is a remote, independent contractor opportunity for reliable professionals with strong transcription, grammar, punctuation, and listening skills.

Required Qualifications

To be considered, applicants must :

Be a U.S. citizen residing in the United States.

Possess a REAL ID or current, valid U.S. passport.

Be willing to undergo a Public Trust background investigation.

Have a Windows-based computer running Windows 10 or later.

Have an active, current version of Microsoft Word.

Have at least two years of transcription experience.

Type at a minimum of 55 words per minute.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Demonstrate excellent grammar and punctuation skills.

Have exceptional listening and comprehension skills.

Commit to transcribing at least 200 audio minutes per week.

Maintain consistent access to a reliable, high-speed internet connection.

Have a compatible USB foot pedal, such as the Infinity IN-USB-2 or IN-USB-3.

Compensation and Contractor Details

Transcribers are paid by the page at competitive rates.

This position is classified as an independent contractor opportunity.

Contractors are paid weekly by direct deposit after submitting timely invoices.

Additional bonus opportunities may be available.
