Job summary

McDermott Will & Schulte is seeking a Practice Solutions Manager in Washington to bridge practice groups with technology. You will support the product owner for a portfolio of legal tech, guiding lifecycle stages from requirements through adoption while coordinating with attorneys, the Innovation team, and vendors to deliver practical, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; PMP certification a plus.
• Minimum five years in technology, product management, knowledge management, or legal operations.
• Experience in the legal industry or professional services preferred.
• Demonstrated experience supporting a product lifecycle and licensure management.
• Knowledge of LegalTech product categories and emerging AI tools.
• Strong collaboration, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Excellent project and timeline management with attention to detail.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Support the product owner for an assigned portfolio of legal technology solutions across its lifecycle.
• Identify practice-level needs with attorneys and the Knowledge & Innovation team.
• Manage pilots, proof-of-concept initiatives, and vendor evaluations.
• Guide new solutions through onboarding and internal approvals for compliant implementation.
• Develop adoption strategies, training, and usage guidance for practice groups.
• Track usage metrics and identify trends to improve engagement.
• Coordinate with IT, Information Security, and other departments to align rollouts with policies.
• Maintain product charters, roadmaps, and governance policies.
