Job summary

AMS Staffing, Inc. seeks a Legal Technology Applications Manager in Chicago, IL, to oversee data application coding and platform integrations across the firm's practice and administrative areas.

You will collaborate with directors, attorneys, and management to implement technology solutions and optimize workflows through robust data governance and best practices. You will lead enterprise system development, manage web and intranet initiatives, and ensure compliance with licensing while guiding

Qualifications

• Five+ years in a law firm or professional services.
• PMP certification required or to be obtained within 18 months.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite in various environments.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of firm-supported software and willingness to learn new software.

Responsibilities

• Advise on development, purchase and implementation of application systems for the Firm.
• Maintain knowledge on industry best practice and technologies and apply to firm systems, processes and workflows.
• Assess application requirements with current systems to determine feasibility.
• Manage the Firm's Web, Intranet, and Application Development.
• Support all Enterprise Systems.
• Understand and plan for impact of automation and AI on people, processes, and ethics.
• Maintain knowledge of legal tech trends and vendor roadmaps to inform direction.
• Plan, implement and enforce coding methods and documentation across development processes.
• Coordinate research and recommendations of development tools to maximize efficiency.
• Plan & Budget with the Firm.
• Meet with senior management on projects and software life cycle.
• Perform periodic license audits and ensure compliance with licenses.
• Other duties as assigned.
