Job summary

Troutman Pepper Locke is seeking a Legal Talent Recruiting Coordinator in Chicago to manage campus outreach, OCI coordination, and entry-level hiring for 1L/2L programs.

You will maintain applicant records, schedule interviews, support summer associate programs, onboarding, and data reporting while upholding confidentiality and strong communication across offices. Hybrid work with travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum of two (2) years of recruiting or related experience in a law firm or other professional services setting strongly preferred.
• Experience with applicant tracking systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain applicant records, ensure data integrity, and prepare statistics.
• Coordinate interview schedules, travel logistics, reimbursement requests, offer letters, and other communications with law student candidates.
• Support multiple summer associate programs, including onboarding administration, tracking and reviewing summer associate assignments and evaluations, event planning and attendance, and budget tracking.
• Assist with all aspects of law school on-campus interviews (OCI), including OCI registrations, candidate pre-selections, preparing OCI materials for attorneys and students, planning OCI receptions, and preparing callback interview schedules, travel arrangements, and other logistics for candidates.
• Assist with on campus recruiting activities, and other activities related to student hiring.
• Support the regional recruiting committees, including scheduling and attending meetings, developing agendas, supporting the committee chairs and other activities.
