About The Role

We are currently looking for a highly organised individual to fulfill a crucial role in our support staff within our Commercial Property Team.

Based in Central England (Northampton) and reporting to the Legal Support Manager.
The Legal Support Assistant role aims to provide comprehensive business support to the fee earners within the team, including the following responsibilities:
  • Drafting and formatting of letters, documents, and forms.
  • Being a first point of contact for administrative and business support requirements for fee earners, anticipating the team's needs where possible.
  • Supporting the file opening process for the team.
  • Assisting with the preparation of all financial transactions as required.
  • Filtering client queries, at times being the first point of contact for clients.
  • Proactive diary management for allocated fee earners.
  • Preparing correspondence and documents through audio typing and word-processing.

About You

As a Legal Support Assistant, you will have:
  • Sound knowledge of IT systems including the full Microsoft Office suite and Teams.
  • Excellent attention to detail in all aspects of your work, with confident typing abilities.
  • Strong communication and organisation skills.
  • Experience in a client-facing environment would be advantageous.
  • Previous experience within a legal/professional services environment would be desirable.
  • Experience in case management systems is preferable but not essential.
We can accommodate both full-time or part-time working around school hours, but are looking for someone who can work Monday to Friday.
