Job summary

Hogan Lovells seeks an experienced Legal Recruitment Coordinator to support the full lifecycle of associate recruiting and talent initiatives in our Denver office. This role focuses on coordination and operations for a professional services environment.

Responsibilities include coordinating law school recruiting, on-campus events, onboarding, and travel logistics; maintaining candidate data; and generating reports with recruiting metrics and compliance support.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in legal or campus recruiting coordination.
  • Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with law school recruiting platforms and ATS.

Job description

An experienced Legal Recruitment Coordinator is needed to support the full lifecycle of associate recruiting and talent initiatives for our Denver office. The role is coordination and operations–focused, ideal for a professional experienced in legal recruiting within a law firm or professional services environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruitment Coordination & Candidate Experience: Oversee and troubleshoot all administrative and logistical aspects of legal recruiting, including application processing, interview scheduling, and follow‑up; maintain accurate candidate records; communicate with candidates, hiring managers, and recruitment committee members; track offers and recruiting activity; ensure timely communication and a positive candidate experience.
  • Law School Recruiting Support: Coordinate recruiting activities for assigned law schools, act as the key operational contact for law school career services offices, manage logistics and interview schedules for on‑campus interviews, job fairs, and recruiting events, prepare interviewer materials, and track follow‑up activity.
  • Events & Summer Associate Program Coordination: Coordinate recruiting events, interviews, receptions, and networking programs; provide logistical and administrative support for the Denver summer associate program, including tracking assignments and evaluations, preparing evaluation materials, coordinating communications and social programming, and serving as the day‑to‑day point of contact for summer associates.
  • Onboarding & Operations: Coordinate onboarding for new associate and attorney hires, prepare onboarding documentation, support orientation, manage candidate travel, reimbursements and related expenses, and support a smooth integration experience through organized follow‑ups.
  • Systems, Reporting & Operations: Maintain recruiting data, reports, school summaries, and class tracking; assist with recruiting metrics, survey tracking, and outcome reporting; partner with IT and internal teams for recruiting and onboarding systems; coordinate vendor invoices and payments in collaboration with Finance; track compliance items and follow up as needed.
  • General: Stay current on firm recruiting policies and procedures, support implementation of updates, assist with local recruiting budget tracking, support special projects, mentor junior coordinators and interns, and participate in firm‑sponsored community initiatives.
Qualifications
  • Two (2) + years of experience in legal recruiting or campus recruiting coordination within a law firm or comparable professional services environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
  • Hands‑on experience using law school recruiting platforms (e.g., Symplicity) and an applicant tracking system.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Professional, service‑oriented communication skills; ability to interact effectively with candidates, firm leadership, and external partners.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently within established processes.
  • Proven discretion and ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Preferred Systems Experience: viRecruit, LawCruit, FloRecruit, and Workday.
Work Schedule
  • Core hours Monday-Friday, 9:00a.m.–5:30p.m.; flexibility for overtime during peak recruiting periods, particularly May‑August.
  • Hybrid schedule: four days in the office and one day remote from home.
Compensation & Benefits
  • Salary range: \$61,000–\$67,000 per year.
  • Potential for annual discretionary bonuses.
  • Benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance; 401(k) retirement plan; paid time off; and other benefits subject to applicable plan terms.
