Legal Recruiting Coordinator/Specialist (Global Law Firm)

Location: New York, NY

Base pay range: $70,000.00/yr - $90,000.00/yr

Comp Package: Base salary up to $90K, Paid Overtime, Bonus, Full Benefits, 401K+, etc.

Responsibilities for Legal Recruiting Coordinator/Specialist:

  • Support the on-campus interview process; securing interview dates, pre-screen resumes, hospitality suite organization, tracking, and reception and dinner execution.
  • Handle all communication and correspondence in the recruiting and follow-up process with applicants and attorneys.
  • Organize aspects of Summer Associate onboarding, including data entry, facilitation of background checks, liaising with internal counsel on onboarding issues related to immigration, conflicts and splits, as well as file organization and maintenance.
  • Handle logistical items surrounding Summer Associate weekend and attend Summer Associate events and act as a Summer Associate liaison.
  • Participate in exit procedures for summer associates including conducting exit interviews and preparing reports with recommendations.
  • Assist in developing and updating marketing materials for attorney recruiting (including Firm website, recruiting brochure, Vault and Chambers profiles, etc.).
  • Conduct preliminary info sessions regarding the firm with summer and fall associate candidates.

Qualifications for Legal Recruiting Coordinator/Specialist:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • 2+ years relevant recruiting experience working in professional services.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a strong team-player.
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks with competing tight deadlines.
  • Ability to conduct online research and synthesize information.
  • Ability to work and interact with attorneys and staff at all levels.
  • A high energy level and have a professional demeanor.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
