Job summary

Thompson Hine LLP in Cleveland, Chicago, or Columbus seeks a Professional Development Specialist to join the Talent Management team and support attorney training initiatives firm-wide, including orientation, summer program, and practice-area trainings.

The role supports the Senior Manager of Professional Development and collaborates with Talent Management on mentoring, evaluations, onboarding, and program evaluation to enhance professional growth and inclusion across offices.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Coordinate firm-wide and practice group learning opportunities for lawyers, including Academy programs.
• Support practice-group led training initiatives.
• Administer firm-wide mentoring program.
• Track coaching for employed lawyers.
• Assist with year-end attorney evaluations.
• Update and maintain the talent management training manual sections.
• Assist with onboarding and new hire integration.
• Contribute to research, budgeting, and data tracking.
• Support Talent Management efforts across PD, Engagement, Recruiting, and Inclusion.
• Attend team meetings and after-hours training as needed.
