Job summary

Excellus BCBS in New York is seeking a Legal Operations Specialist to support the Office of General Counsel. You will administer programs, technology platforms, data analytics, and vendor management to improve efficiency and data-driven decision making.

Working closely with OGC staff, business partners, and outside counsel, you will develop dashboards, monitor metrics, and support compliance with corporate policies, privacy standards, and reporting needs.

Qualifications

• Five (5) or more years of experience supporting legal operations or related functions.
• Experience with legal and procurement technology platforms (matter management, e-billing, contract management).
• Experience in data analysis, reporting, dashboards, and BI tools.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and related collaboration tools.
• Notary public (preferred) or willingness to become one.

Responsibilities

• Support implementation and continuous improvement of OGC processes and workflows.
• Develop dashboards, scorecards, and operational reports using data analytics.
• Coordinate technology implementations and project planning for OGC systems.
• Assist with vendor management, including onboarding and billing processes.
• Review outside counsel invoices and budgets; monitor spend reporting.
• Maintain department records and compliance with privacy and policy standards.
