Job summary

Deloitte is seeking an experienced Legal Operations professional to lead technology-enabled transformation within a forward-looking legal team. Based in the UK with hybrid working, the role focuses on AI prompt engineering, process improvement and stakeholder engagement to drive smarter, faster legal services.

The candidate will build libraries of validated prompts, create business cases for tech investments and deliver training to ensure successful adoption across the function.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test and maintain a library of Legal AI prompts, validated for accuracy and legal soundness.
• Identify high-quality, low-risk prompts for wider business use to enable self-service reviews of simple contracts.
• Identify, design and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, quality and speed of legal services.
• Develop, maintain and govern templates for legal and contracting documents, robust and up-to-date.
• Design and build KPI reporting and dashboards for legal performance, workloads and cycle times.
• Develop data models and infrastructure for reporting using matter management, CLM and AI platforms.
• Lead change initiatives in the legal team, focusing on technology adoption and process redesign.
• Create business cases for legal tech investments with financial modelling and risk assessment.
• Manage stakeholder engagement and communications through transformation programmes.
• Design and deliver training for technology adoption and new processes.
• Apply change management methodologies to embed new ways of working and sustain improvements.
• Support benefits realisation with progress reporting to senior stakeholders.
• Collaborate with lawyers, business partners and leadership to translate needs into operational solutions.
