Job summary

ElevenLabs is seeking a strategic and hands-on leader to own and scale our Legal Operations function. You will partner with an automation engineering team to shape the operating model, oversee the legal tech stack (including Ironclad CLM) and e-billing, and manage outside counsel relationships as we grow in the AI-native era.

You will design dashboards, define metrics, and collaborate with Finance, IT, and business teams to keep legal processes aligned with company goals.

Qualifications

• Seasoned leader with 7+ years in legal operations, ideally at a high-growth tech/AI company.
• Deep expertise in CLM platforms, e-billing and matter management.
• Experience supporting global teams and building scalable legal tech stacks.
• Strong analytical skills to drive dashboards and business decisions.

About the Role

We’re looking for a leader to own our legal operations function and continue building it for our next phase of growth. Working with a dedicated automations engineering team, you will own the systems that ensure the Legal Team scales with the company: contract management, vendor relationships (including outside counsel billing and guidelines) and the overall legal tech stack. The goal is simple: help define what a legal organization looks like in the AI native era.

In this role, you will:

• Assist in the design and improvement of the operating model for Legal. Identify work that should be handled by the team and areas where we can continue automating.

• Manage our legal technology stack, including contract lifecycle management (Ironclad), matter management, and creating an e-billing systems

• Manage relationships with outside counsel and legal service providers, including budget and performance tracking

• Work with our automation teams to use Eleven Agents and other tools to change the way work is done across the team

• Define metrics and build dashboards that give us a clear view of the team’s priorities, workload and performance

• Partner with Finance, IT, FDE and business teams to keep legal processes aligned with how the company operates

Who you are:

• You are a strategist and an operator. You are incredibly intellectually curious and enjoy breaking down and rebuilding processes

• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive - you’re comfortable juggling multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy

• Genuinely interested in the future of AI and emerging technologies.

• A strong communicator who enjoys collaborating with cross-functional teams

• Comfortable working independently in a distributed, high-trust environment

• You have previous experience at a high-growth technology or AI company

What you bring:

• 7+ years of experience in legal operations with some experience leading the function

• Deep expertise in legal technology, including CLM platforms (Ironclad a major plus), e-billing systems, and matter management tools

• Experience supporting global teams

• Strong analytical skills with experience gathering metrics to storytell and drive key business decisions

• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage competing deadlines.
