Job summary

S&P Global’s Legal Operations & Transformation team seeks an experienced professional to manage e-billing and matter management platforms in New York. You will process invoices, coordinate matter setup, onboarding, and vendor maintenance, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of experience in legal operations, e-billing administration, legal support, finance, or related fields.
• Experience with e-billing, matter management, or enterprise systems.
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint; ability to prepare executive-ready reports.
• Experience leading projects and driving workstreams from planning through execution.
• Experience using AI-enabled productivity tools to improve efficiency.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to handle multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Administer and coordinate the department’s e-billing and matter management platform.
• Process, review, and monitor legal invoices for timely approvals and compliance.
• Coordinate matter setup, vendor onboarding, and system administration.
• Monitor invoice errors and workflow issues; collaborate to resolve them.
• Support outside counsel engagement, accrual tracking, and budgets.
• Generate routine and ad hoc reports on spend and activity.
• Collaborate with Finance, Procurement, and tech teams on processes.
• Maintain documentation, playbooks, and SOPs for governance.
