Are you skilled in communication, decision-making, and problem-solving? If so, consider joining the Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Chief Counsel (OCC), General Law Division as a Legal Office Administrator 1. This position gives you the opportunity to utilize your extensive legal knowledge to coordinate and manage a variety of tasks and projects related to DOT contracts. Your work will focus on ensuring contracts are negotiated, drafted, and reviewed for form and legality according to PennDOT and Office of General Counsel (OGC) standards. As a Legal Office Administrator, you will utilize your detailed knowledge of Commonwealth contract policies, to analyze existing contracts in accordance with those policies for administration and compliance as well as coordinate the execution of contract agreements. You will have the opportunity to serve as the primary point of contact and liaison between OCC attorneys and internal/external clients from initiation of the contract through the conclusion of the contract lifecycle. Work also involves assisting with logging, assigning, and tracking contracts into the Legal Approval Tracking System (LATS), Engineering and Construction Management System (ECMS), SAP, DOTgrants, eGrants, RAS, and Supplier Relationship Management (SRM).
