Beacon Hill Legal is seeking an experienced Marketing Coordinator on an open-ended contract with a prominent law firm. You will serve as the firm's primary marketing resource while leadership searches for a permanent Director of Marketing and builds out the broader team.

Beacon Hill Legal is seeking an experienced Legal Marketing Coordinator for an open-ended contract opportunity with a prominent law firm. This position will serve as the firm's primary marketing resource while leadership searches for a permanent Director of Marketing and builds out the broader marketing team.

The ideal candidate will have prior law firm marketing experience and be able to immediately integrate with attorneys and firm leadership, requiring minimal training or ramp-up time. This role is best suited for a proactive professional with exceptional writing skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to independently manage multiple marketing initiatives in a fast-paced legal environment.

Position Overview

As the sole marketing support resource for the firm, this individual will oversee day-to-day marketing operations, communications, and business development support activities. The successful candidate will work closely with attorneys and administrative leadership to maintain the firm's brand presence, support ongoing marketing initiatives, and assist with event planning and execution.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the firm's website, including content updates and revisions
• Draft, edit, and distribute internal and external communications
• Update and revise attorney biographies, practice descriptions, and other marketing materials
• Track marketing and business development activities across the firm
• Assist with the planning and execution of firm-sponsored events and client programs
• Support attorneys with marketing and business development requests
• Ensure consistency and accuracy across all marketing and branding materials
• Coordinate with firm leadership on strategic marketing initiatives as needed
• Maintain marketing databases, materials, and reporting metrics

Qualifications

• Prior law firm or legal industry marketing experience required
• Strong understanding of law firm marketing, business development, and attorney support functions
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Outstanding proofreading and editing abilities
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
• Experience collaborating directly with attorneys and firm leadership
• Proficiency with website content management and marketing technologies
• Professional, proactive, and service-oriented approach

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting attorney bios, practice group marketing, and client development initiatives
• Event planning and coordination experience within a professional services environment
• Familiarity with legal marketing best practices and law firm branding strategies
