The Cincinnati Insurance Companies are currently seeking a Managing Attorney to open and grow a staff counsel litigation office covering the New York City area, including the 5 boroughs.

Starting salary: The pay range for this position is $180,000 - $220,000 annually, based on education, experience, location, knowledge, skills, and abilities. The position is also eligible for an annual cash bonus and stock incentives based on company and individual performance.

Be ready to:
  • Represent the company and its policyholders in litigation within the New York City area, including the 5 boroughs.
  • Maintain a diverse caseload that includes both commercial and insurance litigation.
  • Open and manage a staff counsel legal office with attorneys and support staff.
Be equipped with:
  • A New York law license.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience as a civil litigation attorney, including jury trial experience.
  • Experience in insurance defense litigation, defending individuals, businesses, and contractors in personal and commercial insurance cases.
  • A desire to manage and grow a small legal office of litigation attorneys and support staff. Management experience is preferred.
