Job summary

Mandarich Law Group, LLP seeks a Legal Manager in Farmington Hills, MI to lead a team focused on follow-ups and account closures. This full-time, exempt role operates in-office with a standard Mon-Fri 8AM-5PM schedule.

Responsibilities include supervising filing and service of lawsuits, enforcing Michigan procedural standards, and optimizing workflows to cut costs while managing staff performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum: High school diploma. Preferred: bachelor's or Paralegal Certificate.
• 2-5 years of management experience.
• Prior law firm experience.
• Knowledge of the FDCPA is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise filing and service of lawsuits including default entries.
• Knowledge of Michigan civil procedure; other states a plus.
• Setting up efficient workflow processes to reduce costs.
• Manage team and implement performance improvement plans.
• Implement performance measurement systems for staff.

Job description

Mandarich Law Group, LLP is a creditors' rights law firm located in Farmington Hills, MI. We are looking for great people to bring their passion and strong work ethic to the job. Currently we have an opening for a Legal Manager to work on a team that will focus on follow-ups and account closures.

This a full-time, exempt position. Base schedule is Monday thru Friday 8AM to 5PM. In-office.

What You'll Do:

• Supervise filing and service of all lawsuits including request for entry of default process
• Knowledge of Michigan civil procedure. Other States are a plus (OR, WA, HI, AK, ID, IL, NV, FL).
• Setting up processes for workflow in the most efficient cost-effective way possible.
• Manage team.
• Implement Performance Improvement plans for non-performing staff.
• Implement performance measurement system for staff.

Requirements

• Minimum: High school diploma. Preferred: bachelor's or Paralegal Certificate
• 2-5 years of management experience.
• Prior law firm experience.
• Process Master of workflows is a must.
• Knowledge of the FDCPA is a plus.
• Self-motivated
